Carol J. Kreber

After a courageous battle with MS, Carol J. Kreber died peacefully on March 4, 2019 at the Tyndall Good Samaritan Center.
Carol was born August 4, 1944 to Clarence and Grace (Lewis) Roberts. She was raised and went to school in Wall, SD. She went on to graduate from St. Michael’s School of Nursing earning her RN degree.
Carol met and married Jerry Kreber in May of 1965. From that union, she was blessed with three children. She was fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom. She raised her kids and always treated them to fresh baked cookies.
Carol enjoyed her time with her friends, drinking coffee and playing card games. She also looked forward to her Friday night Bunco game and was the first to complete the crossword puzzle in the morning
Carol is survived by her children: Bradley (Kim) Kreber of Spokane, WA; Scott (Jennifer) Kreber of Sparks, NV; and Rebecca (Chris) Oerlline of Rapid City, SD; and two grandchildren, Joseph and Grace.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband Jerry and her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

I was in Carol's class in Rapid City, St. John's McNamara School of Nursing 1961 to 1964 . We graduated together. Some of our classmates were Carol Ferris and Kaye Thorvaldson, Sharon Melvin I have such fond memories of Carol though she went by a nickname at that time. God Bless her! I loved knowing her.

Our deepest sympathy to the Kreber family. Carol was my classmate in first grade where her mother was our teacher. We joined her again in high school and graduated with the class of 1961 in Wall, SD. I have a alot of fond memories of Carol and her family. May God keep you in his care.

Aunt Carol - So many fond memories! The family gathering at their house in Rapid after the flood, Going to the car races in Rapid, The fair in Rapid, the many fall pheasant hunting visits to Tyndall, the summer chicken cleaning visits to the Fergusons, in the pickup with the big camper! I always looked forward to and enjoyed visiting Carol and Jerry on our trips to the Black Hills. I think my first Taco Johns experience was at their house! Rest in Peace Aunt Carol and thanks for the memories!

Carol was a special, one of a kind person, finally able to rest in peace. Her laughter and humor (dry as a bone) will remain with me always.
