Clayton G. Lee

Clayton Lee, age 89 of Yankton, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at Pioneer Memorial Nursing Home in Viborg. A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Clayton was born March 10, 1935 to Norman and Helen (Handy) Lee in Volin. He was employed by the Clay County Highway Department for 51 years, in addition to farming. Clayton loved to tinker on the farm and enjoyed spending time outdoors.

Clayton will be remembered by his children, Lori Jepsen of Gayville, Jeanne (Kevin) Kayser of Alexandria, Caryn (Richard) Kraft of Sitka, AK, Deanna (Bruce) Wieskus of Jasper, MN and Duane Lee of Vermillion; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; parents, Norman and Helen; sisters, Norma and Marjorie; brother, Raymond; son-in-law, Gene Jepsen and grandchild, Vincent Kayser.
