Daniel John Joseph Wuestewald

Dan Wuestewald passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Majestic Bluffs in Yankton at the age of 85.  

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 4 at Goglin Funeral Home in Yankton. Visitation begins at 9 a.m.

Daniel John Wuestewald was born January 15, 1938 at Yankton, South Dakota to Bill and Catherine Wuestewald.

Dan married Margaret Siman on October 20, 1962.  They built a home in Yankton and raised 4 children, Robert, Patty, Tammy, and Sandy.

Dan worked for 15 years at Cimpl's before he and his family moved to a farm near Lesterville.  Dan was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, gardening, golfing, bowling and fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Dan is survived in death by his son, Robert Wuestewald of Yankton; his daughters, Patty Fejfar of Yankton, Tammy Ryan of League City, Texas, and Sandy Graham of Somers, Montana; as well as his grandchildren, Alyssa (32), Robbie (30), Ryan (28), Lane (27), Stephanie (35), Traci (33), Nicholas (26), Lauren (22), and Derek (30). 

Dan is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents, Bill and Catherine and his sister, Delores.
