Beatrice Dianne Munneke was born November 30, 1948 in Mitchell, SD to Henry and Martha (Meyerink) Munneke. Dianne grew up in New Holland, SD and graduated from Corsica High School in 1967. She went on to complete her cosmetology degree in January of 1969. One month later, married the love of her life, Jerry Lee Neugebauer on February 7, 1969. As the heart of her family, she was an amazing wife, mother and the hardest worker serving in roles of farmer, business owner, VFW manager in Armour, nursing assistant, factory worker in Mitchell and Yankton Alcoa and locally in Scotland and Kaylor lockers.
Dianne’s passions included gardening, flower arranging, crafting, baking, canning and fishing. She also enjoyed riding motorcycle and bird watching with her husband. She was a Christian who loved her God and her family with all she had. More than anything, she simply enjoyed socializing with her family and her great friends.
Grateful for having shared in Dianne’s life are her three children, daughter Michelle (Richard) Gielski, son Micheal (April) Neugebauer and daughter Mindy (Ethan Dickson) Neugebauer; five grandchildren, Anthony, Kayce, Peighton, Jaeden, and AJ; and one great-grandson, Carter. Additionally she is survived by her brothers, Alvin, Gordon, and Harley; her sister, Shirley; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
