Duane Herbert Ehresmann was born on Monday, September 19, 1955 to Herbert and Velda (Heibel) Ehresmann in Parkston, South Dakota. He was as a truck driver most of his life, working for Bob Pietz Construction, Dave Gustfuson Construction, and Don Ward Construction of Rapid City. Duane enjoyed collecting Dale Earnhardt and Harley Davidson memorabilia, but his greatest pride and joy was his Harley motorcycle and Monte Carlo.
Duane passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Avera St. Benedict Hospital in Parkston having attained the age of 59 years, 4 months, and 9 days.
He is survived by his mother, Velda Ehresmann; two aunts: Violet Ehresmann and Violet Peters; an uncle Noel Ehresmann; nineteen cousins; and his beloved cat Blackie.
He was preceded in death by his father Herbert Ehresmann, several aunts and uncles, and his beloved puppy Sadie.
