Dear McCann Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose someone you love, especially unexpectedly. But death is not God's purpose for us. At Revelation 21:4:"And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." God promises to reunite us with our loved ones here on earth by means of the resurrection hope. In the meantime may the "God of all comfort" give you the strength needed to endure.

Dear Greg, Barb, and Families, The scripture study group from Saint John's Catholic Church in Greenfield, Iowa met this morning and lifted prayers of sympathy, courage, compassion, and care to you all. Your deep faith will see you all through this time of grief and sorrow. Friends and family are here for you to offer comfort, peace, and friendship. Know that the light will shine again and God's great love is working through you all, even now. In friendship and peace, Father Ken, Renee, Kay, Helen, and Catherine

Grants Grandma Lornnie McCann is my God Mother. I only knew Grant from the few times I was introduced to him in Springfield. My older children was Grants age and knew him better. I'm sorry for your loss. May God Watch Over Your Family Today and All Days. Amen

Holly and family, Knowing Grant in high school, he was always so polite and kind. I'll miss seeing him around. Words can not ease the pain so I will pray for your comfort and peace at this time. Remember our Lord's promise of Eternal Life and we will be reunited with Grant.
