Harry L Murrill, Jr.

Harry Lewis Murrill Jr. of Tyndall, SD died on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 of complications due to COVID-19.

He leaves behind the love of his life, Iva (Dollarhide) Murrill, with whom he shared twenty-eight years. He also leaves his eight children, Joseph Murrill, Michelle (Jeff) Hagelstein, Nicolette Murrill, Diana (Fred) Miller, Marissa (Josh) Brinkman, Tiffany (Barjinder) Singh, soon-to-be Patricia (Brad) Hoff, and Theodore Murrill; eleven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; a niece, Dawn (Kelly) Herlacher, whom he loved as a daughter; two sisters and one brother; and innumerable friends made family. He joins his mother and father in life beyond death.

Harry was a Vietnam veteran who served his country for twelve years in the United States Air Force. He dedicated the majority of his remaining years to a career in healthcare, specializing as a nurse in mental health. Family, friend, colleague, or patient - like the stones he loved to skip in the river, his life impacted all of those who knew him and will create ripples that change many generations to come.
