We send our heartfelt sympathies to Irene's family. Irene was such an inspiration to us. Her age never stopped her from living life at its fullest. Her smile would brighten up anyone's day. Sue and I have so many memories of Irene, from "musgo" to her KEEPING a key in the trunk switch so she can always open it. One thing people need to know is that when she was over 80 she would ride the bus as a chaperone to Placerville Camp in the Black Hills and she would stay the week at camp and ride back again. One of the first years she did that, she rode the zipline they had put up. The kids loved her and she even taught them the song, "Alfalfa hay." She is a legend! We can only hope that everyone in heaven listens when she speaks. May she revel in God's glory!

Irene was my mother's cousin. We saw her as enthusiastic, smiling, generous with her time and talents and a blessing. My family and I send our condolences to her loved ones for God's peace.
