Jacqueline "Jackie" Leigh Johnson

April 17, 1963 — August 19, 2019

Jacqueline Leigh Johnson stepped into eternity to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 19, 2019, at Lake Andes Senior Living with family by her side. She endured much and is finally resting.
Jackie was born on April 17, 1963 to Aaron Sr. and Darlene Johnson. She grew up and attended school in Yankton. After briefly moving to several other areas, she settled in Yankton. Jackie worked at several different companies including: Mtrons, Vishay, Cimpl Meats, and laundry at Sacred Heart Hospital. She enjoyed dining out and going to bingo with her best friend Rosalinda Pena. Jackie also enjoyed going places whether it was out of town with family or friends or down the street to get her favorite snacks. Jackie also loved watching her detective shows, especially Law and Order. Once you got to know Jackie, she had a witty sense of humor, and most of the time a comment for everything. She was fun to be around and thought dearly of her family and friends.
Jackie is survived by four daughters Andrea (Aron) Bernal of Yankton, SD, Dawn Mcbride of Sioux Falls, SD, Stephani Johnson of Yankton, SD, and Selena Olvera of Vermillion, SD; 14 grandchildren; one brother Andrew (Hope) Johnson of Yankton, SD, and 2 sisters Gayle Stone Arrow of Flandreau, SD and Roxanne (Chris Savage) of Yankton, SD; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncle.  She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, parents, and her older brother.
This obituary was written in loving memory by the family.
