Judy Ann Ehlers (Jerke)
Judy Ann (Jerke) Ehlers, age 59 of Tripp, South Dakota, went to meet her Savior on December 10, 2019, due to complications from MS surrounded by her family.
Judy was born in Mitchell, South Dakota to Arthur “Dick” and Helen (Schmidt) Jerke on October 27, 1960. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1979, graduated from Mitchell Tech 1981 and got her BA in accounting at Dakota Wesleyan University. On May 4, 2001 Judy married Kevin Michael “Mike” Ehlers, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Mitchell. She worked as an accountant at Geyermans in Mitchell, worked as an inventory specialist with REGIS, worked as an accountant with Volunteers of American and for XRX Knitting Magazine.
Judy loved to knit, embroidery, fish and cook. She devoted a lot of time fund raising for the MS Society. Judy and Mike both were diagnosed with MS and over the years they helped with many MS fund raisers. Judy also loved to spend as much time as she could with her family. She enjoyed spending time at the lake by Utica. Judy was a diehard Minnesota Vikings football fan.
Judy is survived by her husband, Mike Ehlers, Tripp, SD; brother John (Melenda) Jerke, Mitchell, SD. sister Lyla Jerke, Mitchell, SD.; two daughters, Jessica (Liz), Sioux City, IA, Justina Kinsey of Sioux City, IA.; grandchildren Malynda, Alexys, Kalynn, Coltyn; her aunt Hilde Jerke; nephew Paul (Jessica) Jerke and Maylee and Jeeprin; niece Amy Doer and Easton, along with her loving dog Sadie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and her dog Sheba.

Judy ,you will be missed by so many.,namely your Sister Lyla.. You worked so hard to beat the MS,but God had other plans for you. I wish you Peace in the Lords loving arms. Rest now, your work is finished.
