Larry Lee Rehurek

Larry Lee Rehurek, age 70 was born August 6, 1949 to Joseph and Margie (Hamberger) Rehurek of Tyndall.
Larry attended Bambas rural grade school and started working at the age of 16. His employment included Serr Auto Repair, Scotland; Schoenfeld Chevrolet, Parkston; and many years with Mehlhaff Construction until retiring due to health reasons. Larry enjoyed fishing, TV westerns, anything chocolate and his cigarettes. Larry was a private man who had a special place in his big heart for his niece and nephews, especially watching his great niece and nephews grow. Larry had an innate ability to understand, diagnose and repair almost anything from a lawn mower to a CAT dozer. While his formal education was minimal, he had a master’s in mechanics and common sense.
Larry is survived by his brother Dave and wife Sheryl, Yankton, SD; niece and nephews: Amanda “Tootsie” Rehurek (friend Jon Beal), Andrew (Rachael) Rehurek, Zach (Kayla) Rehurek, Ryan (Angie) Brodersen and Dane Brodersen (friend Chelsea Holland); great niece and nephews: Callie Brodersen, Tate Brodersen, Jace Brodersen and Wade Brodersen.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Margie Rehurek and sister Colleen Rehurek.
