She was an active supporter of the local 4-H programs and enjoyed 4H Achievement Days. She also enjoyed working in her garden. Lois especially loved to go to her grandchildren’s ballgames, concerts, dance recitals, school functions and activities. Lois died on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at St. Michael’s Hospital Avera, surrounded by her family, following a 1 ½ year battle with ovarian cancer.
