I dated Lynne in High School for a short while. She was an incredibly sweet person and even though I lost contact with her years ago, I always wondered how she was. I was really sad to learn of her early demise in life. I will never forget taking her in 1977 to a sock hop at La Jolla High School. Every head in the room turned when she entered with Lynne all decked out in her American Grafiti era outfit. She was a beautiful person with a beautiful smile. I hope she is resting well in heaven! :) My prayers are with her family! Judge Richard S. Whitney

I had the honor of spending time with Lynne 3 1/2 ago when we were both going through a similar struggle. She made the situation bearable through her upbeat personality and beautiful smile. I really enjoyed knowing her. She brought me a lot of comfort. She was far too young, but is now at peace. Prayers to all who knew her.

Lynne, what a heart of gold you had and the ever present smile that would light up the room and make others smile. You touched many people over the years and though I had lost touch with you; you were not forgotten. I'm grateful to have known you over the years. May you rest in peace.

Oh Lynne. I've been in denial this past week, thinking that maybe your car accident and death weren't real. However, now that I've watched the beautiful life tribute, the tears will not stop and the reality has set in. My goodness, you will be missed! You always made me laugh, and your ability to remember things ... whether significant or insignificant, you could make me remember things that were somewhere deep in my memory archives:) I'm forever grateful to Rick for loving you and providing for you and to the Lord for taking you when you no longer had the strength to fight/live (I'm not sure which). I hope one day to see you in heaven, and we can laugh again! All my love, Karen

My dear Lynne, your selfless courage precedes you and cannot go without mention. As a loving Mother you made the ultimate sacrifice. You forfeited your only child you loved with all your heart so he may have all the opportunities you could not afford him. Never a day went by you did not think of the love you had for him, how much you missed being his loving, caring, Mother. A true act of valor few mothers ever endure yet you did, my love. Your shining brilliance and captivating smile fought back the intolerable pain, the unsurpassable loss, every day of your life. This is your gift to this world as you are, my dear, sweet Lynne Susan Gaudreau. All my love
