Susan Lynn Olson, age 73, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Sister James Care Center in Yankton.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 4 at Calvary Baptist Church in Yankton. Visitation begins at 9:30.

Susan was born February 12, 1950 to Edmund and Genevieve (Davis) Liebsch in Sioux Falls, SD. She graduated from Washington High School in Sioux Falls and then attended nursing school, becoming an LPN.

Susan married Tom Olson, October 12, 2003 in Volin, SD. She loved spending time with her family, quilting, camping and fishing. Susan was very loving, caring and sassy. She was known to be the best jokester.

Susan is survived by her husband, Tom; daughter, Tanya (Craig) Caruthers; grandchildren, Chris (Olivia) Heinzman, Brook (Trista) Heinzman, Keigan Jacobson, Tuniya (Eric) Dufek, Jaelynn (Trevor) Lange and Antonio Caruthers; great-grandkids, Braylon and Ryleigh, Acamas, Laken, Eden, Daxton, Avery and Octavia; nephews, Stephen Liebsch and Jonathon Liebsch; along with her brother, James Liebsch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Genevieve Liebsch; sister-in-law, Kris Liebsch and son-in-law, Scott Heinzman.
