Vern Warren Hicks

Vern Warren Hicks died peacefully and unexpectedly at home in Tyndall, South Dakota on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the age of 45.
Vern Hicks was born January 24, 1976 in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota to William and Linda (Bisson) Hicks. He grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada.
After high school Vern went to work in security. He then decided that long hall trucking was what he wanted to do.
He moved to Tyndall, South Dakota in 1999 where he met and married Wendy Raysby August 9, 2003.
Vern is survived by his wife Wendy Hicks of Tyndall; mom Linda Bisson of Tyndall; brother Dale (Gale) Hicks of California; sister Cheryl Hicks of Minnesota; sister and brother-in-law Sandy and Todd Laroue of Mounds View, Minnesota and sister Melissa Hicks Mercado of Tyndall.
He was preceded in death by his dad William Dale Hicks May 12, 2005; grandma Bonnie May Bisson in 2008 and grandpa Warren Bisson in 2006.
