Violet Ehresmann, age 92, of Tripp, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Avera St. Benedict Hospital at Parkston.
Her funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Frieden’s Reformed Church of Tripp. Burial will be in the Frieden’s Reformed Church Cemetery of Tripp.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Frieden’s Reformed Church of Tripp.
Violet Heibel was born March 11, 1929 to Edwin and Linda (Pietz) Heibel on the family farm at Tripp, South Dakota. She attended Lake Region School No. 11 until 8th grade.
On September 3, 1948, she married LeRoy Ehresmann at Tripp, South Dakota. Together they farmed until their retirement in 2000.
Violet loved Polka music and dancing. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, Melissa. Carissa and Jeff. She will be remembered as a loving but feisty, tell it like it is kind of woman.
She is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Ehresmann and her parents.
Grateful for having shared in her life are her daughter, Judy Boddicker of Parkston; three grandchildren, Melissa (Jared) Saraga of Hatfield, Pennsylvania, Carissa Boddicker of Parkston and Jeff (Jessica) Boddicker of Brandon; three great-grandchildren Kyra, Max and Kylee; and her twin sister, Velda Ehresmann of Parkston.
